So the day finally came.. Finished my 12 hour night shifts yesterday and had about 4 hours sleep then started what has turned into 7.5 hours worth of driving (few minor detours)

9am this morning




280 badge will be in the post next week


On the way home I managed to get 36.7mpg (over 213 miles), heres a quick shot showing a similar mpg

And so onto the modifications already done:

1.Black front lip
2. Fan washer jets

old on left, new on right


Tomorrow and Wednesday the following is happening:

1.VWR Springs
2. Fitting 370mm Brembo brake kit (off my LCR)
3. VWR Cup intake (possibly)

Looking good. mk3 are growing on me every day. did the calipers come painted

that is really nice the leon has always needed a 3 door version,best of luck with it.
the screen wash bottle looks like seat forgot to fit one and realised at the last minute though.

The USA cars have black caps (I had them fitted to my MK2 LCR) I will be getting a black cap to replace.

I don't wanna sound like im dissing the MK2 just because I've got rid of mine.. but the MK3 is far superior IMHO.

Never the less I will miss the old LCR and I still miss the FR TDI

Not as bucketed (I was impatient so didn't wait for the bucket option) but they are alot easier on the ass haha
