Hello,

This is my car, is a SEAT Ibiza FR 2012 with turbo F23T Franken turbo (k04 hybrid). I work with Etuners on Colombia (im the partner here), so the car has Stage 3 Etuners and Stage 1 Etuners on the gearbox.

The car has:
*Turbo F23T (is not mixed flow) this is a K04 hybrid.
*WMI kit AEM
*Downpipe and catback 3" with race catalyst (100 CPSI) and 2 mufflers.
*Stock internals.
*Intake Pipercross 3"
*Vibratechnics engine mounts
*Mishimoto oil sandwich + oil front radiator.
*Intercooler Wagner tuning
*Oil catch can + breather mod
*Adapter for 2.0 TSI Coilpacks
*R8 Coilpacks
*Forge Valve with Blow off.
*CO2 intercooler kit.
*Water spray kit

Everything else is stock, fuel pump, valves... everything. The supercharger works until 3500rpm so i dont have lag (nobody like lag) im having a 23.8 psi max relative pressure and 21psi at revlimit (6800rpm).

The car is for daily use, works perfect. The launch control works at 4000rpm and the pressure is 6psi because has Launch control + anti-lag. I dont have problems with the gearbox, works great, dont slip clutch,

Here a few pictures, the car has a 3M vinyl and bodykit. Here the fuel is 90 RON... really sucks... so im using 50% 90 RON + 50% Ethanol (E50).

UPDATE:

302WHP - 355HP and 382nm at wheels or 450nm flywheel.

What are the wheels inside the turbo? k04-023 from s3 20vt or k04-064 from 2.0 tfsi?
The housing is the stock k03 or something else?

Hi, is not stock hybrid turbo, this is a full K04 setup, but the k04 is called F23T (franken turbo). Here is the link from the turbo spec: http://www.frankenturbo.com/new/F23T.html They made K04 hybrid the exhaust wheel is bigger and the inner wheel is better.

Wasn't easy put a K04 on this car, the space is too small to work. The process was:

1. Cut the turbo on three parts, (remove the inner pipe, the manifold and the other pipe).
2. Remove wastegate and stock N249.
3. Cut the manifold from the stock turbo near to the turbo.
4. Put together the turbo and the stock manifold. Stock and k04 manifolds has the same inner size, is easy make this, create a new manifold is too dificult and could be future problems.
5. Create a new inner pipe and solder a 2.5" elbow on the exit from the turbo.
6. New water and oil lines custom made.
7. Put the wastegate on a new position.
8. Heat wrap on everything.
9. Have fun.

This is an old picture from the WIP 6 months ago.

1/4 mille with stock tyres, 240whp, 90 ron and 2600meters above the sea. 14.1 seconds, im waiting the slicks tyres, maybe 13.3 seconds here, we are really high on bogota. Maybe 12.x at sea level on 21 january, there is a competition there (barranquilla).

I did 14.1 1/4 mile when I was revo stage 2 240bhp with stock tires and 2 persons on road (v-box timing) with 100 RON at sea level.
Hybrid setups like mine are in high 12's in official drag races with slick tires, launch control at sea level, 100 RON.

Have you raced any tuned k04 2.0 TFSI's? Like Leon cupra, Audi s3 and the likes? How do you stand against them?

Thats a good new, so i can make less at sea level :D. Here on Colombia we dont have professional drag track. The grip is not good, on bogota we loose 1 sec against sea level. Thats because is too high -_-. My 60ft with 14.1 seconds was 2.3 seconds with 19 PSI turbo. Im waiting a new competition to test with this new setup :D

Sorry i dont saw the Question. On street my car is faster than Leon Cupra (2.0tfsi k04). That car here make 13.5. - 14.0 seconds on drag competition with 104 Ron fuel. Again we are really high so we loose a lot because there is not enough oxygen on the air.

I meant with a tuned Leon Cupra, stage 2 or stage 2+ with intake-tune-exhaust-hpfp. Have you raced any?
I'm 2 cars behind a stage 2+ GTI edition 30 DSG k04 from factory like Leon Cupra with intake-tune-exhaust-hpfp on 80-210km/h run.
Here is against a stage 1 GTI Edtion 30 DSG (intake-tune):

You should be able to do mid to high 11's with your current setup at sea level with launch control and good fuel (at least 98 RON).

Nice race, that's a faster Ibiza. Against a golf mk7 with 317whp - 372bhp I'm a little bit faster from 60km/h to 180km/h. After that until 260km/h we are equals. I hope 13.0 here, if I can do that, I can make 12.0 or 11s at sea level

Thanks. You setup sounds very interesting so I'll be waiting to see your results in the drag race in January. I'll ask Stelios for more details about your setup & tune next time I visit them. :)

Small update:

*RPM Limit increase 6800 to 7000rpm Sport mode.
*Fitting CryO2 intercooler water injection.
*Stock springs on rear wheels, front still has eibach pro kit. Trying to create more weight front to avoid wheel spin on launch control.

Waiting for:

*K04 heat shield.
*Pipercross filter 80mm x 200mm x200mm
*Bigger Oil catch can 19mm.
*Heat wrap on boost pipes.
*MH Slicks Tires.

What's your future plans for the car?

Sorry a bit of a thread hi-jack but do you still have your Cupra Queen? Your build thread mentioned your maybe getting an Evo X?

Thanks, im not really sure, this is the limit for K04 turbo, I'm on 20 psi, can't hold more, and the internals can make more than this power, so a bigger turbo needs forge pistons and rods + lag because bigger turbo is going to increase the lag 400 rpm maybe. So... Maybe just convert the car to E85 because here the fuel is just 90 Ron , E85 is cheap for daily. The next Sunday there is a competition (1/4 mile)

Update:

I made a Water Intercooler Sprayer the Cryo2 kit sucks, is just a waste of money and time. My works really good, was not easy but i can reduce a lot the IAT. But this is just the beginning, i need a few additional parts to make it better and reduce the IAT 15 or more degrees.

Here a small video:

New and better UPDATE!

Two hours on dyno with a better fuel and this was the result, 334hp (284whp at wheels) and 360NM without any problem.

Next friday is the practice day for the national 1/4 mile competition at sea level.
