Fitted the racingline turbo inlet the other day. The size difference between the stock inlet and the racingline one is massive. The stock airflow is very restricted.

Beginning of next month I'm heading to Regal Autosport for an Integrated Engineering cold air intake and an APR stage 1 remap and DSG map. 20% off APR software at the moment with the summer sale!
Power should be around 380bhp and 380ft/lbs of torque

Cupra is now running APR stage 1 ECU and DSG software! Also now have an integrated engineering open cold air intake, might be one of the only ones fitted to a cupra!

Feels like a totally different car the power comes on so much sooner and the exhaust pops and bangs a lot more. The intake gives a great dump valve noise on high boost and a flutter on low boost let off, but isn't loud at all under normal driving.

374bhp and 350ft/lb is perfect and after learning to take it easier on the throttle the diff does a great job delivering the power.

The torque seemed a little low for the high output file but I'm sure I'll get more when going for high output stage 2.

Next order will be a couple of Michelin PS4S tyres for the front, my PSS on the rear are still pretty healthy.

Had a play with Obdeleven today which I got for Christmas. Had to burrow an android phone since I’m an apple man but got it all set up smoothly.

Few things I changed:
Turned sound actor down to 0%
Alarm beep when locking/unlocking
Folding mirrors with one touch of the lock button
Rear lights on with DRLs
Disabled start stop system
Activated traffic sign recognition
XDS Diff lock set to strong
Throttle response set to linear
Stopped ECU/Traction control killing power in first 3rd gears
Set Diff for increased traction

Very pleased with obdeleven so far!

Car's looking great, how are you finding the stage 1 map and putting the power down with the insert?
Does making the diff changes and changing the throttle response via OBDeleven make much difference?
Thanks :)

Thanks! The car puts the power down pretty well with the insert and I had 2 new Michelin PS4S put on the front a few months ago which really made a difference. I’m thinking about swapping them wheels to the back though and putting 245/35 tyres on the front soon. Then a full revo engine mount upgrade. The obdeleven changes didn’t seem to make much of a difference so I might need to go back and see if it changed properly.

Be interested to see how you fare with 245/35 tyres on the front, hopefully there's no rubbing issues.
I'm thinking about going down the full mount route too, undecided whether to get the revo kit or the superpro kit, the revo kit's a fair bit cheaper though.

Yeah I’ll update here when I have them fitted, Hopefully should be fine since it’s only one size up. Yeah I saw the super pro kit but I don’t know if it would be worth the £300 more than the revo kit. The 034 insert is really good for the money though definitely the best value mod I’ve done so far!

245/35 R19 Michelin Pilot Sport 4s fitted to the front today. No rub whatsoever even at full lock! Haven’t had a chance to test the traction properly but they definitely look better and fill the arches slightly more. Also got 10% off through black circles so saved over £40!

Also got some EBC yellowstuff front brake pads in the post that I’ll fit soon!

Haven’t posted any updates in a long time so here’s a big post with lots of pictures!

Old downpipe was a pain to get out but got there in the end!

Running APR Stage 2 now with the exhaust pop and crackle map thanks to QS tuning. The car picks up speed so quickly now even low speeds just seem so effortless like it wants to be pushed all the time. When the Powervalve valve opens on boost the noise is just insane I’m so impressed at how good it sounds. The only downside is the valve closes off boost so when the pops and crackles come from downshifts or de-acceleration they sound muffled, but I’m going to try something soon to fix that.

Overall super pleased with the BCS exhaust and the APR Stage 2 file. The car does a great job handling the power.

Next I went for a few visual mods as I thought I hadn’t done enough to make the car stand out as It should do

Then headed to Boss Dog in Redhill for the front bumper lip to be wrapped gloss black and my APR sideburn stickers to be fitted, they done a great job!

Today my BCS Powervalve cat back system finally turned up. Been waiting nearly 9 weeks but it was well worth it. The quality of the welds and parts is amazing, and the tailpipes look incredible! Hopefully getting it fitted next week :)

Great service from Nige and the guys at powervalve!

Nige and the guys fitted mine today, but got to ask, where does the wire go to?

Nice! They make amazing systems I’m so pleased with mine. It connects to a small valve that’s fitted at the front of the engine which sends boost pressure to the exhaust valve to open it
Never even realised! I assumed it was back pressure on the exhaust that did it.

That’s a solid build mate! I’ve driven past your car multiple times in my 300 on the way to the local Shell. It would be nice to hear it in person one day!!
