Quick report on this one. Just removed my led reg lights and radio reception been spot on. Nice test this weekend as I'm just of to Scotland so I'll see how it goes. Apparently the a4 suffers from bad reception due to cracks in the circuit board of the modulator in the back window. Time will tell !!!

Still same problem. Anyone got wiring diagram for the antenna amplifier ? Done a scan with vcds and fault code open circuit on antenna. I belive the power is fed through the coax. . There's 3 from head unit and 4 in roof lining near amp. 3 to amp and one to gps antenna. 2 to the amp are giving 10volts and 1 has nothing. Iv traced the coax under center consol to under rear seat then up the rear panel to roof. Some where here is where it splits from 3 to 4 but can't see how the rear ns trim panel comes off. Any help would be appreciated thanks. Tony

Had the full paneling out tonight and the parcel shelf traced all wiring and conecters. Can't see any fault so built it back up. Looks like media only lol.

Hello, I recently bought a sport tech estate and have a similiar problem with my radio reception. Local stations are a bit of a lottery, sometimes terrible reception and sometimes perfect.

Would anybody know where the aerial is located on the estate model or know of any common faults/solutions?

Many thanks

Mine sucks 2 but its even worse when I put the rear demister on, all I can hear is hissing.

Reception of local stations were so much better in my old Jetta and they suck in my Exeo :(

Iv found that phone chargers can cause interference. I suggest if u have one pluged in you unplug it and give it a few seconds to settle before ripping your car to bits. Iv had 2 cause this problem now. The radio coax runs under the center console, im guessing thats why it causes this fault
