No difference in performance in mine after service, i.e. it's reasonably nippy in the mid range when it's stopped spinning it's wheels (it's chipped so low end torque is too much for the tyres in the wet or dry), and weak at the high end (illegal speeds) when the torque tails off.

Am gonna change the fuel filter and check the air filter, see if either of those can restore some interest in the performance :) Saying that, driving other cars makes me realise mine's not so bad, it's just not (and never will be) a 'fast' car, merely a nice all round package with 'nippy' performance. I bought it for reduced running costs, and so far it's done me proud :)

That was indeed, hey a fellow seatcupra.net-er, nice one.. Yeah live in Angmering village so do that drive most days when I've gotta be in the office.. are you local?

Sure am - live around the corner from David Lloyd so no doubt will pass one another on a regular basis. Can you post your thoughts on Frosts once your car has been serviced - are you taking it to Portslade or do they do servicing in Ferring?

Ah cool, Im sure we will! - Taking it to Portslade, the one at Ferring is a SEAT 'Used car specialist' only, I think they do Vauxhall servicing but not SEAT...

I'll keep you posted...
