I've now had the car for exactly 6 months.
In that time I've put on just under 7700 miles, so I think it's fair to say that I've been enjoying it.

Have recently been doing some 150-200 mile A road blasts whilst returning 52-55mpg which is very impressive.

Now saving for a stage 1 REVO remap, will probably try and schedule it for when I've had the car for a year :)

Hello Niallain,

I saw that you have the same fault code.

Seat Leon trouble code B201A00
1. Select the information control unit module
2. Adapations
3. Confirmation of installation change
4. Make a note of this value. Mine is shown below
etc..

What should i exactly do? I can not find that option.
Is it possible to make a video?

Thank you for your help.
Regards Martijn

Are you using OBDeleven or another software to clear the code?

Thank you very much, but I miss the "conformation of installation change" button, you need the pro for that?

Do you have a solution for my navigation update?
My version is now v2, and it must update to v5
It doesn't work, because there is no valid database

I saw that you have something nice for the Seat Leon tailgate.
The tailgate opens easily, but closes the tailgate also easily or is there a little bit of pressure?

I don't know if "confirmation of installation change" is part of PRO. Check on the OBDeleven forums.

The tailgate struts make it a little harder to close the tailgate, but not too hard.

Time for an update as I've done a few extra bits.

Ownership time is now just over 8 months, I've put on around 10,500 miles now, which is mad considering I only bought it with 10,300!

I have done the following since my last update
- Front fogs changed to LEDs
- Rear indicators changes to LEDs (also resulted in half a taillight failing, so had to replace the whole unit....)
- Reverse light changed to LED

- Rear 3 windows tinted to 15%
- Front lip and behind number plate wrapped gloss black

- Took it for a 20k service

- Also had a wiper disintegrate on a long journey so had to pay £16 for a single one from Halfords when I could've got the pair for £20 online

MOT is due at the beginning of March so fingers crossed it flies through. Annoying my insurance is also due at the same time, hoping my first year of NCD will knock the price down a lot from the £1700 I paid for the first year!

Hi, just wondering where you purchased your side skirts and spoiler from if it wasn't through SEAT? I want to do the same thing but not keen on SEAT's prices!

Also would be good to know, did you fit them yourself? / how did you fit them?

Cheers

Bought them on eBay from a SEAT dealer.
eBay seller is caffynspartstw

Spoiler and side skirts including postage was £347.50
Got a family friend to paint them both for £120
Spent about £15 on adhesive sealant and some adhesion primer.

Fitted them myself with the help of my dad.

For the skirts we had the car on ramps at the front and took the back wheels off. Applied the adhesive, mounted the bottom of the skirts underneath using provided clips then pushed skirts into the side allowing them to stick.

Spoiler is straightforward, following the instructions for where to add the adhesive and stick it on top of the tailgate.

Edit: just adding that the parts were genuine. I've seen some people who have managed with the cheap Polish fibreglass ones and they look alright, but try and stick to genuine!
