Hi all , I have a stage 1 map , and have a k&N apollo cold air intake fitted with cold air feed from outside , I still get a blow off style sound on gear change and normal air sucking noise as turbo gulps , is there anyway I can reduce the noises (I hate them) but when I return to engine cover with built in filter I lose power , and also the the engine cover anyway , and induction is the only way get rid of the engine cover permanently

I thought about dynamite style wrap around the apollo casing ?

Any ideas welcome

For anyone in the same mindset , I used an apollo closed filter and a cold feed down into the wing and front grill area, now it's as quiet as the standard engine cover and apart from a roar on WOT , it's silent and I have all the gains back from the induction

Ok, I get it!!! I've got the ram air induction and it definitely makes the car sound like a heavy breather. It's not bothering me so much just yet, but will see after the stage 2+ map.
