Was looking for some help and advice on this one.
Over last few weeks I had started to notice an issue with my Altea, wife normally drives and hasn't reported the problem to me, but when I asked her she says oh yeah it has done that a couple of times
Basically when getting in the car and on putting foot on brake there is a really hard pedal and like only 5% of the performance that should be there which is very alarming, especially on the main roads!! After a few mins & a couple of miles the normal pedal feels comes back. However on the last couple of journeys the pedal has remained hard, which i'm hoping at least an actual fault will now be easier to diagnose over an intimitant one.
Any thoughts or suggestions??
I mentioned it at the MOT the other day and they suggested the servo pump may be on the way out??
