Rear Strut Brace

Right then, I'm looking for a rear strut brace.

AFAIK, I need either a Mk2 Ibiza, Mk4 Polo or Mk1 Golf strut brace to fit. Correct?

Also, how would I attach a Fire Extinguiser to a strut brace?

yeah, that was another thing I was looking at. Would rather have from top of struts instead of between the struts

Thinking about this myself, some sort of sturdy srapping, but not come across anything as yet. Last thing I want is another rattle coming from the boot having metal on metal.

Time to think.........:blink::help:

oh come on ladies this one is easy!!!!

have some sticky sided foam, then stick a small amount to the brace, then use a velcro loop to attach the extinguisher. easy peasy and wont come loose or rattle

most decent fire extinguishers come with a harness that can be fitted to a brace via straps or suchlike and the extinguisher itself clips or straps itself to the harness .. well my three do, anyway ;)

its not just 'cheap' but in the case of a fire you dont want it to be fiddly, with a velcro strap you lift the end tab and the extinguisher will just come loose. easy peasy
