Ok so i have had the above problem a while.
It has now got worse.
Took the key out of the ignition today and the car ran on for a couple of minutes even with the car locked with keyfob.
Has anyone any idea why this is happening ?
I am thinking it may be a relay ,,, fuel pump one ???
Anyone have any ideas as to what is causing this ?
Thanks for any replies.

Has it just started doing it or has it always done it? Could be a bad earth or some dodgy wiring, I had a corsa years ago when the de mister was on wouldn’t turn off.

Get it plugged in see if there’s any issues showing up, I imagine there’s multiple reasons it could be.

Thanks for the info.
Further to this problem, it has just done it again.
I stalled the car by putting it in gear and releasing the clutch.
Then when i took the key out of the ignition the dashboard lights are still on.
Very strange this, i thought it might be a fuel relay, but now i am very confused.

Check the earth cable running from the battery terminal, take it off, give it a clean up and re attach.

From searching online it could be the ignition relay, or the fuses connected to these. Possibly some faulty wiring too, maybe best get a pro to investigate.

Thanks for all the replies.
It has been doing if for the last 12 months or so.
Will check earth strap/ battery earth and then maybe ignition switch.
