Inside of seat squeaking

The inside of my passenger seat is squeaking like mad, fine when someone is sat in it, but if they move or it is empty its like there's a little vermin in there! Anyone had this problem before?

similar fault on the mk3

used to be one of the adjustment bars running underneath and rubbing the bottom of the seat pan

its all black so any shiny bits are giveaways of rubbing

used to just bend it down a bit

Mine seems to be coming from inside of the seat back though, not the base

Yeah same with mine. Don't think it's coming from the base. Could be wrong though.

Trip to the stealers then as still under warranty and don't fancy getting close to the side airbags!
