One touch windows - SEAT Cupra.net

Up until yesterday my windows worked both on one touch up and down.

This morning when i started the car the clock had zero'd itself, so I reset it and went on my way.

As it got walmer I was faffing with the windows and noticed that altho the one touch was working to put them down it wasnt working to put them up.

Could it b that they are out of sequence or are my window switches fooked??

Put the window up and hold it for 10 seconds, Do the same going down and they should work, Mine did

Mine did the same-would go down with one touch but coming up it would stop when you let your fingure of-tried holdin it up for 10secs and that but most of the time after holdin up for 10secs i couldn't get the window go down!-was stuck for a couple of mins. if you get it sorted let me know......

You can also put your key in the drivers door barrel and hold it to the unlocked position until the windows go alway down then hold it in the locked postion until the windows go up, this resets the motors!

Managed to cure it with the 10 second jobbie!

When the battery loses connection or just decides to reset, the windows forget the one touch, strange.

The 10 second thing re-programs them basically.

(One touch only works off Drivers controls)

Yeh, when i first got my last one I spent hours trying to get the one touch to work from the passenger side! lol!

Random that it works on one touch from the drivers side for the passenger window tho!

Anyone else's Ibiza's randomly reset then? Only happens a couple times a year, but you come out in morning and trip computer reset, MPG is at 0.0 and clock resets etc etc

Not sure why? Battery connections are good, very odd? Must say I havent searched the forum to find out if others suffer, its just come up in this conversation...

The most stupid thing about one touch is it works with the key in the ignition, but when you take the key out (and have forgot to wind window up), it doesn't work.

it didnt work on my 1.4s

i wonder if there is any way to enable it with vag com?

(and Yes my 1.4s does have electric windows:P)
