manual boost controller - VAGCOM logs

installed a MBC from boostvalve.com

torque in the midrange increased noticeably

power on the high end is lower per my VAGCOM logs

cars has a weird surge down in power when acelerator is >= 60% but less than 100% when the boost goes over 12PSI it suddenly drops to about 8PSI

this does not happen when acelerator is 100% or if i maintain the boost under 12 PSI , the boost goes up to 16PSI when flooring it , I wonder it the surge will go away if I increase the valve PSI level to about 15PSI , altough a little afraid f trying that as when flooring the boost may go over what the stock ECU considers safe and will drop into limp mode ...

the boost drops to about 12 psi at higher RPM > 5000RPM

car is stock (no chips)

here is my best vagcom run vs. a run with the MBC valve

and .... boost without the MBC

notice how the boost doesn't drop near 6000 RPM and follows the requested boost much closer at RPMs > 4000

this log is from a year ago (10K miles ago)
