Got my FR 20VT!!!!!! Oficially one of the family now! *long post* big pics

Yeeeeeaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!
Got my black magic FR 1.8 20vt on friday! Not stopped driving it yet, picked it up at 6 from David Cook in Chadderton, Oldham. Took 2 weeks from order to me picking it up, well impressed with the service and help I got there from Dave, and the other lads and would reccomend anyone to buy there, even if it means travelling a bit further.

Took her out for a drive with the missus after waiting 10 mins paranoid to make a right onto the main road then suffered the torture of having to look at her from the window of maccy d's 3 mins later while we eat, haha. by this time, the missus was sick of me looking out at it

Finally dropped her off at home and went to get a feel as going from my 75bhp pug to 148bhp in the space of an hour takes getting used to. I love it to bits, everything about the car, then opened it up a bit on NSL road.

So happy with the car, just can't stop looking at it out of the window! Took it to my dad's mates who has a new leon FR TFSI from same place to pose haha.

.....Then on saturday it pissed down with rain and caked the car in an inch of grime

face lift versions dont get them its nice bumpers or bat cover. know what id rather have

Against my friends best wishes, yeah haha.

Couple of minor things first:
put my pioneer mp3 player in there, coz seat ones gonna get robbed round here....
cupra air vent switches (the red ones)
Chrome/ally air vent surrounds
LCR front splitter

Then possibly's, if i ever gather the funds
REVO
Green panel filter
Forge recirc/dump valve
FMIC
Turbo-back zorst
Not too sure about coilovers, coz i put SPAX ones on my 206 and it rattled the car to bits, and the beezer handles better than that did now!

oh yeah, just noticed! Add that to the list of minor mods then PMSL!

Now thats stingy, glad gaz put my mind to rest with that, thought my dad had took it off when he was looking at the engine and lost it like he's done in the past

Gaz, would love to buy it bud, its a top priority the FMIC when I got the money, but funds are really tight at the moment, so gonna leave the engine as is for a while

£20???? while the LCR splitter is £18? hahaha. Need one though I reckon.

smaller one pd160 and cupra 20vt is the bigger one, well if you comeinto the money soon it will prob still be forsale!

haha yeah the 3rd pick down was about an hour after picking it up, and the best it got, before the heavens opened

Dammit! Now i'm jealous!! Glad you finally got yours Chris but mine is still not showing itself! Got a call from the guy on friday saying it would be next thursday to pick up or they could deliver it for me the following tuesday as they are short of staff to do it. But he did say if I waited until the tuesday it would have a bit longer on the tax. I wish i'd gone to the same bloody garage as you now! It's a long way but at least I wouldn't have waited 10 1/2 weeks! I'm currently borrowing my parents Suzuki Swift. Just not the same really is it?
