Collected my lovely Candy White FR today !!!

Hi All,

After about 11 weeks of waiting my lovely FR TFSI is now parked in my drive, I am ecstatic. I cant believe how lovely the colour is, was so worth the wait. I am also glad I got the skirts put on, they add a little something extra and really dont look over the top.

The colour-coded mirrors were a good decision too, they look amazing. All in all I have no complaints. I got the mirrors done for free and they also gave me a full tank of petrol, so what a bonus that was. Am loving the P-Zeros as well.

Apparently some bloke received his black Cupra 2 days ago and just happened to come by to collect something else from the dealer, saw my car gleaming in the sun. He was so GUTTED that he didnt wait and order it in Candy White .

The dealer was so dubious about the colour when I first ordered it, they tried to talk me out of it but since people have seen my car and expressed interest they have now ordered one to use as a display model.

Am going to post some pics now from photobucket, so apologies if I dont get it right first time.

Looks very nice, the only thing that concerns me is how long White cars will stay in "Vouge"! and the Red lights why don't they use the Black/smoked FR/Cupra style like the Ibiza would relay suit the Candy White Leon IMO. Did i say it looks mint?!!

Thanks guys, am well chuffed. Have owned white cars in the past, so this is not a new thing for me, no regrets whatsoever.

Going to Brighton tomorrow with the gf and the dogs for a bit of a cruise, so going to give it a good run in.

I wonder how long it takes before I want to spend more money on it , not that I can afford it, I am broke for a long long time.

Thanks Jono. I guess we all have our favourite colours but I love the white on the MK2 shape.

Me too! I'd have got white if I could have waited / had to wait for a car at all...

Looking good! White is the new black then!

Those mirrors look good, as they should have left the factory!

I know, but I cant afford to be too precious with it, its just a car after all .

I have the back seat cover from when I had my LCR, so it should fit just fine. All I have to worry about it the small dogs nose prints on the inside of the window :-).

SEADRAGON - Fantastic car, great looks and its well worth the wait. Still not that many on the roads so it still gets looks.
Nothing personal I chose luna because it only needs washing when its really dirty, white and black are fantasic colours on cars but all that washing. I hate washing the car . Luna grey may be dull but we are all different. Was told by 2 dealers that this was the colour they would chose to re sell although there seems to be a few black ones at dealers. Are you going to put a protective film on the front to give extra protection from chips etc.?
Have a great weekend and enjoy the car and the drive. John
