Problems with new 1.9tdi Sylance

Hi

Just thought I'd post some problems with my 1.9tdi Stylance.

It's booked back in to the dealers next week, but I'm interested to know if any of these faults (and their resolutions) are known to others. I haven't told the dealer about all of them yet. I keep remembering more!

1/. 'Miss-fire' at 2000rpm, under load. (Think this is known to others, but hasn't been noted here for a while?)
2/. 'Bonk' noise from underneath car when reversing. (Like a trapped component, springing back in to place.)
3/. Occasional, 'gritty' feel on the bite-point of the clutch. The grinding can be felt through the clutch and brake pedals, so might just be the pivot? It isn't always there though.
4/. 'Owling' from the engine/turbo under light load at constant 2100-2250rpm. (I know this is known to others.)
5/. Water in the doors. (I know this is also known and I can't see a design fault. The door seals don't appear to obstruct the drain holes when the doors are closed. I think there is too much waxoyl in the bottom of the doors and it's causing water to pool, rather than drain.)
6/. Wet Windows (see 5 above, I reckon they're related issues)

Car is about three weeks old with 850miles on it.

Andy

1. Mis-fire at 2000rpm uner load could be the DMF issue again?? I am having trouble with a mis-fire type fault at steady speeds , then i get a hiccup in the power!?
2. Havnt a clue, nothing stuck or jammed in, stick, debris etc?
3.When driving along, press clutch in, there is certain amount of freeplay for a few cm, but at point of pressing clutch i feel noticable vibrations?
4.Owling maybe from the N75 valve (boost Pressure Control).
5.Water is meant to be in the doors, but not pooling i wouldnt think!
6. Wet windows, still trying to get to bottom of this problem, booked on for next tuesday (3rd time! Not happy, 5wks to get a tweeter replaced and mis-fire looked at even with previous visits! Muppets) so will hopefully get it fixed, am sending them to this site if they start to give me lines again!

that will be DPF i assume and the 1.9's don't have one only the 2.0 170bhp FR.

I had problems at this speed with bad vibrations and was flywheel.
it cant be DPF as the car is a 1.9?

Car is with the dealer at the moment, trying to sort the clonk in reverse and for them to PROPERLY sort the cosmetic damage.

I had to go on a test drive with a technician to prove faults, and the only two problems I can re-create on demand are the clonk in reverse (they reckon it's the sub-frame bolts needing tightening) and the grating clutch.

The technician put the grating clutch down to movement in the Dual Mass Flywheel clutch. Anyone else find that it grates, particularly when pressing the brake pedal at the same time, and depressing the clutch?

They've loaned me an FR while they fix the clonk and the cosmetic damage and that doesn't have a grate.

Don't like the FR as much as my 1.9. It's seriously quick when it's moving, but absolutely gutless if you don't keep the revs up, especially when pulling away from a standing start.

Bog all happens, then it bites you. Not a pleasant experience at busy roundabouts.
