ABS faults

It all started when I changed a AC pipe in the engine bay, I had to unplug the 3 fuel lines (next to washer bottle) and the coolant pipes that go in to the bulkhead, all put back fine and car runs fine even the AC works now it's be filled up. BUT now I'm getting these faults and ABS TC lights on dash......

Control Module Part Number: 1J0 907 379 AF
Component and/or Version: ASR 20 IE CAN 0001
Software Coding: 13404
Work Shop Code: WSC 00000
3 Faults Found:
00283 - Front Left ABS Wheel Speed Sensor (G47)
35-10 - - - Intermittent
00283 - Front Left ABS Wheel Speed Sensor (G47)
16-10 - Signal Outside Specifications - Intermittent
00285 - ABS Wheel Speed Sensor: Front Right (G45)
35-10 - - - Intermittent

I've had the wheels off both sides and check for stones/gunck stuck in the router sensor both clean, the wires looked ok.

Is there anything else i can check or could it be anything else none ABS?
I don't want to spend aload of money on parts to find it was somthing simple.
Also is "front right" viewed from in the car or from the front i.e front right = drivers side?

Thanks
Olly

I've looked at all wires and apart from a very small nick on the driver side everything looks ok.
Were is the ABS unit plug?

I didn't clear the codes and went for a drive, stopped for an hour then when i started the car up to drive home the lights didn't come on and stayed off for the 2 mile drive home.

If you have disconnected any abs wiring with the ignition switched on of had the vehicle on a ramp running with the front wheels spinning then it will log a code, it needs to be driven over abour 15mph and should clear the codes it self. But as you say uve cleared the codes using vagcom and it hasnt came back on yet so i would just keep trying it and see.

Clear the codes and see if they come back on first. As they are Intermittent they may not ever come back on again.

Just a quick update, I've checked all wires i can get to and all looks ok, I think I'm just going to have to change the sensor and see if that sorts it.

OK I've ordered a sensor so should be with me in a day or two, BUT i got in the car today and the battery light came on and the ABS light went off. Got home and plugged vag-com in and there were no new codes in any section just the front left ABS sensor code any ideas about this anyone?

OK here is a update, my ordered with ECP's failed because I didn't fill in my bank details properly

But as I've said my battery light came on and after a day of driving it died, so took it to my local garage who said (as i suspected) the alternator had gone so as I had a spare I got them swapped over and all is well. I cleared all codes and none have come back after 2 hours of varied driving and the car goes so much better now pulls harder. Makes me think the ABS sensor is more sensitive than the battery light, so came up first.
See how long it lasts.
