Hi All,

Thought it was about time i put some new photo's up of some of the new mods so you can see what i have been upto so here we go.....

W8 Light & Cupra Headlining

I bought a W8 Light just after i bought the cupra headlining and didn't realise they only come in grey so me and Steve had to spray it well i say we was mainly him haha!! here is a before and after shot for you!! i am still waiting for the pillars from seat it has been 2 weeks now still not in!

Cupra Spoiler

Recently purchased direct from seat spoiler was £60 and i payed £80 for the spraying only a small difference but really does make a difference.

Cupra Alloys

Have been after a set of these for ages so when i saw a set pop up on here in the for sale section i jumped at the oportunity of getting a set of 5 and i think they look great although a bit smaller for some reason, maybe because the spokes are shorted on the cupra's!!

De-badging

Small and cheap mod but oh my god it made a difference have put a small jabba sticker to replace the FR as i really do think they are the nuts!!

HID's

Bought from Luke from off here for a reasonable £40 6000k look great and have driven infront of my car and past it in another car and it doesn't dazel people atall which i was really pleased with!!

Sound System

I'm not a massive sound freak but i do think a sub does make music sound a bit nicer so have just put a vibe pre-amped box in on the standard headunit i am very weight consious so i removed the 2 seat bench and spare wheel to make up for the weight added, i will be changing speakers when i get round to it!!

Other Bits
I have done a few other bits such as the red imobiliser light that flashes when the car is locked i have changed that for a blue led and also wired one into the other side of the car so I have 2 flashing led's which look pretty cool at night impossible to take a photo of though haha Also bought some carmats from the net they are black with yellow piping and have FR logo's on them aswell £40 off ebay which was pretty cool.

I have just bought some new gauges i plan on having the scangauge which ant fr was talking about mounted in a din blanking plate above the radio but now i need to re-house my other gauges but i have decided to go for new autogauge digital ones i am getting an apillar pod for 2 gauges and will have EGT and Boost gauges in will mount my oil temp in the glovebox so i can still keep an eye on it just won't be in my face all the time. Exterior wise i am pretty much finished i like the sidestrips and sideskirts i have decided would look to low in comparison to front and rear bumper so i don't know what else i can do?? Performance wise i am still waiting for steves porche brakes to come in i have already ordered the tarox disks mintex pads and braided hoses so as soon as his brakes come in his 312mm's will go straight on then there is only 2 other things i will be doing propane which i have been quoted £1200 and LSD whcih will be about £950 after that the ibiza is finished. The way i see it most of it is done now just a few more little bits do do then i can stop spending money and just enjoy hahaha!!!

let me know what you all think when i look at it now almost looks like a different car than what i bought 5 months ago!!!

Not being funny, but will all the money you've spent making it look and go like a Cupra, why didn't you just get one in the first place?

Hi Mate,

Yea a few reasons i didnt really, 1 if your going to big turbo it your changing the turbo anyway so why pay extra for the pd150turbo when your changing it anyway!! 2 I now actually prefer the FR front bumper to the cupra so would have prob bought the fr front bumper if i got a cupra. 3 was insurance also my finance is alot lower than if i would have bought a cupra and i just spend the left over money i have every month on the car so when i stop doing it up my monthy payment will be alot lower than if i had a cupra, my personal opinion is it goes faster and looks better than a cupra

i know not everyone will agree but thats how i look at it!!

thanks for all the nice comments!! to be honest i get most my idea's for mods from my brother anyone that has seen his mk4 golf ani knows it really is stunning we spend hours thinking up new idea's to make the cars better haha!!

yea thanks mate i really like the black headlining i managed to get it at a really good price off Gaz Jones from here and he fitted it aswell makes a big difference inside!!!
