Leon 8v 1.6 engine swap with ABA engine? - SEAT Cupra.net

Hi every1.
Some noob help please for my beloved Leon.
I own a MY2000 1.6 8v petrol Seat Leon Mk1. I have an ambition on tuning the Leon in an "unfashionable" way, as I m an "atmospheric breather" fan. I want to avoid turbos.
In some research I have found that an ABA (code for the 2.0 litre 150bhp VW GTI MKIII) engine would fit prerfectly in my engine housing. Has anyone tested this , even in theory? Am I talking rubbish? Please excuse my ignorance. My enthusiasm is bigger than my tech knowledge .
In your debt for any info about this "project car".

use a vr6 engine if you want NA power.

I think 150bhp/135lbft won't be a lot of fun in a heavy beast of a leon.

you need something with some torque to move you along
