Autocar article on the future of SEAT

There is an interesting article on the Autocar website on SEAT's plans for the future.

http://www.autocar.co.uk/News/NewsAr...llCars/229306/

The curving side line is to stay in a more subtle form.
The New Ibiza 5dr is due in Sept 2008 but the New Ibiza 3dr is not due until Feb 2009.
Leon facelift due mid 2009.

I don't know how accurate it is but it is a good read.

Very enlightening article. AutoCar are often one of the more accurate rags in terms of future info.

Does sound promising that Luc Donckerwolke and the Audi board are starting to push the brand in the direction many of us want to see it go. Let's hope they are successful. If they can do to SEAT half of what they've done to Audi in the past 10 years then were onto a winner.

Nice work on your feedback to the article Z. Certainly looks a bit more positive than other scare stories of late. I'm starting to think that the new Bolero might be a prospect if it looks as good as the impressions I've seen so far. Might just be able to afford one in 2009/10

Bolero sounds good to me as well Tim. I almost went for an A4 this time round, so a cheaper SEAT variant of this platform may well interest me.
