Favour...RE: Leon Charge pipe routing

Hi guys, I wonder if you'd be able to lend a hand to an Ibiza owner, my mate is installing a 1.8t engine into a mk2 golf, he was going to fit an ibiaza style over the to charge pipe, but i've talked him into a Leon /S3 /TT round the back style, but he's asked a few questions about it.

1. Is about how it routes once the metal pipe end's and it drops into the engine bay and down to the intercoolers, he has a front mount going in so how is the piping on these cars?

2.Does anyone know the part number and price? Local Seat garage are unhelpful, despite numerous tries.

3. If there is a picture showing the routing, could someone provide a link, or even find it on VagCat.com , I have looked but cant find anything on this.

I've also tried searching ebay for parts for him, but no luck, i've searched for:
Leon Charge pipe
S3 " "
TT " "
ko4 charge pipe
K04 charge pipe,

And cant think of anything else it may come under, any suggestions? Or other places to get it from?

I appreciate anyone who is able to help,

Thanks Tom

Does this help

Viewed from the back of the engine.

Edit: What intercooler and inlet manifold does he have? There's not a lot of room with a Golf style inlet to go down that side into a dual pass and back into the TB, obviously might be different on a mk2 golf compared to a mk4

Robdon's thread might help, he's gone ibiza style IIRC

Thats is spot on lads, Thank you very much!

Roly, i was looking at your piccy, trying to work out what on earth was going on with your rocker cover, then i realised it was a Tea Towel.

Cheers lads, I really appreciate it.

Anyone know the price of the Leon Charge pipe?

Thanks.

Tom, there's always the route down the nearside of the engine if he has an offside throttle body...

Apparently TTS do modded ones for abount £95.
Either that or go to a custom exhaust maker and get them to make you one.

I have done this on my Lc bought all the LCR stuff. Charge pipes can be found for as little as £35. There was some one on ebay selling all the intercooler stuff for £60.
but then again if he's putting it in a golf there will be no mounting possition for the intercoolers, the charge pipe will bolt to the engine so thats not a problem, getting a fmic would be the best option.
