strange clutch pedal - SEAT Cupra.net

When I first set off in the car from cold the clutch pedal has a bit of free play,eg I can press down a little with no resistance

But after driving for a short while the clutch pedal looses this free play and goes quite stiff where this free play was,but the clutch itself is no harder to press down

Never noticed it until I had the remap.

Any clues please or is this normal?

I notice my clutch felt lighter if i didn't drive the car for a day or 2. I think its just down to it being hydraulic..mine is a bit unpredictable.

sounds like air in the clutch fluid to me

bleeding it should sort it if that's the case

im with nath sounds like air in the system and there a git to bleed!
