Turbo rival

I've noticed that the competition is churning out more turbo models in the race for the hot hatch crown.

Anything to be worried about????

Yaris Turbo
1.5litre, 160bhp, 196Nm, LSD, 0-60 7secs

Corsa GSI Turbo
1.6-litre, 175bhp, 210Nm 0-60 7secs

Daihatsu YRV Turbo (take a look at the link)
130bhp, 0-60 8secs, 50MPG!!

They are as light if not lighter and have more power than a standard Ibiza 1.8T. Be worried if you want to be. Chip it if you want more power. But just enjoy your car

I wouldn't really want to be sat in any of those and pull out of a junction and find a transit van all locked up and sliding towards my door at 40mph!

I was just about to post about that Daihatsu, also Telegraph Motoring Article

Taken from there:

The YRV Turbo 130 also has a full impact-sensing safety system. In the event of a collision, the system activates the standard front airbags, turns the inside light on, unlocks the doors, switches on the hazard warning lights and turns off the fuel pump!

Not impressed to if it doesnt say there there it'll be alright and ring your GF/ Police / Insurance to explain you might have had a slight accident. Therefore allowing all the time in the world to finish cr@pping your pants.
