Density Line Motor Mounts

Well the first Group buy was a great success coming in @ 9 sets.If you want another GB organised simply reply to this thread or you can have your mounts shipped individually via USPS express.

WHAT THEY ARE: A new line of rubber motor mounts made FOR us by OE suppliers to OUR specifications.

STREETDENSITY Mounts
solid rubber mounts with a 50 durometer about 25% stiffer than stock, this means they still ride smooth and quiet but provide a marked improvement in drivetrain dampening over stock mounts.

Livable street performance with serious sport intentions. Note, don’t mistake these mounts with OE mounts, though they look almost identical, the rubber stiffness very vastly, think of these mounts as what the factory would have produced if they weren’t catering the car to whiney cheerleaders.

TRACKDENSITY Mounts:
built with an 80 durometer rubber, approx 90% stiffer than stock, these are solid for all practical purposes and result in ZERO drivetrain movement. Vibrations from the engine are noticeably increased but not horrible. Definitely not smooth and quiet like stock mounts, but in return you get a completely locked down drivetrain with NO slop or deflection. These are perfect for the street/track enthusiast who doesn't mind a marked increase in vibration from the drivetrain, or the hardcore drag racer or track driver who is eliminating all slop in the chassis.

Performance with serious sport intentions. Note, don’t mistake these mounts with OE mounts, though they look almost identical, the rubber stiffness very vastly, think of these mounts as what the factory would have produced if they weren’t catering the car to whiney cheerleaders.

NOTE, THIS IS NOT AN OE MOUNT AND ARE NOT AVAILABLE FROM ANY OTHER SOURCE - These are built by an OE supplier to 034Motorsport specifications.

These mounts will fit all MK4 5-speed & 6-speed vehicles (again includes Audi TT), and includes the motor mount, transmission mount, and dogbone. Priced less than OE mounts, these are a no brainer for the street or track enthusiast.

You Can choose all 3 Mounts:

Or just the engine and gearbox mount (for those who allready have an aftermarket dog bone mount):

Or just the dogbone mount:

PRICE = £220 SHIPPED FOR ALL 3 MOUNTS
PRICE = £185 SHIPPED JUST FOR THE ENGINE & GEARBOX MOUNT
PRICE = £99 SHIPPED JUST FOR THE DOGBONE MOUNT
Please send me a PMwhen you are ready to order and please make sure you state which Density you want (Street or Track).

If you are SURE about your oder then simply send payment via paypal to sales@INAEngineering.com (please DO NOT forget to include the paypal fee).
Thank You,
Issam Abed

I believe it is 3%.See the issue with paypal is that it gets iffy from country to country and from account to account.
If you want to avoid paying the paypal fee,you can send me an echeck which takes 7 business days or so to clear.

ppcalc is useful for working it out. http://ppcalc.com/

So as an example, based on the prices above I think it works out as follows, not sure though if that includes exchange rate.

PRICE = £220 SHIPPED FOR ALL 3 MOUNTS PayPal - £227.95
PRICE = £185 SHIPPED JUST FOR THE ENGINE & GEARBOX MOUNT PayPal - £ 191.72
PRICE = £99 SHIPPED JUST FOR THE DOGBONE MOUNT PayPal - £102.69

Is there a similar kit for mk4 Ibizas? We're trying to fit an AUQ with a 5 speed from a TT into a 9N Polo

Not at the moment, I'll get some soon, but it's the same bay as an Ibiza Cupra / new Polo Gti

Once it uses the same set up as a Volkswagen MKIV then the mounts will work great for you.

How would these mounts affect the car? i.e. any change in handling or anything like that. I have a powerflex dog bone mount which was about £15, what is the difference with these that makes the dog bone £99?

Cheers.

Edit: Just to clarify, I have read the first post in detail but I'm unclear what the real benefit of the extra dampening is?

Before I can answer that I would need to know what you use your vehicle for.Track racing?
As for the difference in price, these are complete OEM replacements. Not just some derlin insert that you put into your stock mount. The most popular version that I sell is street Density Motor & tranny mount and Track density dogbone mount.

Its a much stiffer mount to aid in reducing drivetrain "slop".

Some useful pictures etc on fitting from Vortex.
Cicky.

Personally, I got a replacement set of stretch bolts from the dealer - cost very little.

Seems a bit of a mistake not to supply flanged bolts, OE bolts or even washers for the bolts? The supplied bolts don't look stainless steel either, strong enough for the job?
