Hi
Can anyone tell me where the connector is located for the diagnostic lead on the seat altea? I have looked everywhere but it is not in any obvious locations. I have an ecl light lit up on the dash and I want to put a tester on to find out the problem.Apologies if this question has been posted before but I did a search and couldn't find any answers.
Thanks.Greg:confused:

right side of drivers wheel, the panal that slopes down/back beneath the lights knob, give it a good tug around all the edges and it will come off. About 5 or 6 clips hold it on. EBD and relay board is behind this panal. Its not the little panal lower down with the handle hole in it.

Thanks Bud

Don't know why they didn't position it in behind the little panel you pull off to get at the fuses! That would be too logical!!

Thanks again .Greg

Is a VAG-COM cable and s/w required, if so where best price.

I already have an OBDII cable and s/W but I don't think these work do they ?
