My Ibiza FR TDI

Been meaning to do this for quite a while (I've had it over a year now!!)
I bought it Jan '08, and i'm ashamed to admit I didn't even know what an Ibiza FR was before i went and drove this one. That drive, and another 2 days later just before handing over the cash, was enough to convince me i needed this car!

So here's how i got it, bog standard with 19,000 miles on it.


This is what I traded in against it.


And this is what i blow off steam on in the evenings and at weekends

First mod, naturally, was an SCN sticker front and back.

This is the one on the back just below third brake light.

The next thing I wanted to change was the crappy standard key. After reading the flip key thread (yeah, all of it!!) I took the plunge and ordered a new flip key and a little FR key badge (well in for a penny, in for a pound) off fleabay. when it came i followed all the advice I had gleaned from the thread and Hey Presto

I bought a VW Sharan aerial too from ebay but some thieving scumbag stole it off the car outside my house one Sat. night so i ordered a shark fin and fitted it. I'm not entirely sure whether I like it or not so I've ordered another Sharan one and might change it back (this time it'll be on with Loctite Threadlock)

Then about 3 months ago I tracked down a set of 5 Octavia VRS alloys in a breakers. I had decided a long time ago, after seeing a few of the cars on here that have them, that these were the wheels I really wanted. Getting 5 was just a bonus.
So here's how it looks now.


Just need to get it lowered and remapped now and I'll be happy.
Any comments or suggestions welcomed.

Whats the thread on the flip key all about ?
Dont like the chrome mirrors either sorry

Lowering is next on the list, it'll be done within a month.
The aerial's days are numbered, trust me.
Flip key thread is in Ibiza MK4 FAQ's section.
The mirrors aren't chrome, they're silver, thats the factory colour for the mirrors on an FR and Cupra's have gloss black.
