Broken headlight

Ok...so the brackets on top of my passenger side headlight have snapped...I read on a post about part # 1M0 941 057 being a repair kit...would this be right for me?

If so, how much will it cost? :-D

PS. The car is a 53 plate Seat Leon 1.8 20v.

1M0941058 is the part number for the RHS headlight.

I was told by the friendly local parts guy that part nos. ending even are for the RHS of the car, odd numbers are LHS.

Hence 1M0941058 is RHS, 1M0941057 is LHS.

another possibility is needing one of each for each lamp

I replaced one of the top mounts on my offside headlight today, using the kit 1M0941058. The kit was for the top mounts only and contained one of each.

From what I gather there are 4 different part nos, the two that cover the two top mount kits, and 1 each for the lower mount repair brackets. The lower ones are differently shaped for LHS and RHS.

1M0941057 contains both upper replacement mounts for the LHS light.
1M0941058 contains both upper replacement mounts for the RHS light.

1M0941053 is the part number for the lower mount for the LHS light.
1M0941054 is the part number for the lower mount for the RHS light.

These should hopefully be the right numbers!

exactly right - a steady hand with some superglue and its sorted. dont even need to remove headlamp from car, its actually easier with it in place. A local breaker buys them off me 10 at a time

You can screw them on too, once you remove the remains of the old broken mount there is a screw hole provided already cast into the headlight itself.

that sounds like the route id go, not sure about glue... may be ok for one broken braket but not if a few have been broken..

Probably, they use the same mounting points.
Most aftermarket lamps are Valeo anyway, just in non-SEAT boxes
