EML- fault code
Hi I have recently had two occasions when the engine management light has come on - in both cases without any other symptoms. A friendly mate with an obd code reader- professional mechanic and equipment- has read the fault and the code is 01089 and text is "tensionong bow raised".
I will go to my dealer but would like to be clued up first. It is a Tfsi (FR) june 07 and 6750 miles. Can someone interpret this fault code and text? I have posted this in the Leon2 section- I am very aware that I am out of my depth and hope one of you guys may help.
