Ok, had the car for two years two months and have not done it justice on the modding front yet. The reasons for this I guess have been as follows.
1. It's just been such a complete awesome all round car. Not had any problems (touch wood). Goes like stink and handles well. I loved my LCR which I modded quite a lot (Jabba remap, tints, Forge FMIC, Dynatwist, Armourfend and some other bits and bobs). However I've not felt the need as much with this one. 2. I had stage 1 Revo installed last year and a Milltek catback. It just produces silly speeds now, just topped off an already complete package. 3. I thought I had grown out of it a bit, have a kid now, older and wiser (?) Anyway, I was also holding out for the LCR to be unveiled and to see if I would want to upgrade. Now it has I actually breathed a sigh of relief as I can keep this one until the MK3 Cupra comes out. So the plan is as follows. Cosmetic Next week I intend (not booked yet) to get the wheels refurbed in gloss black by these guys: http://www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk Then I'm going go get the roof wrapped in gloss black as well by these guys: http://www.totally-dynamic.co.uk/ I've done a quick mockup (in matte not gloss) but you get the idea: Power After that once REVO have finalised their workshop move I'll be heading up there for new fuel pump internals and stage two ![]() Fun times ahead ![]() Scott |

Cheers guys.
I'm planning on doing the roof and wheels in gloss black not matte. That was just because I did a rush job with the pic in photoshop. ![]() Do you think matte would look better? I did have some other thoughts but thought it might be too much. What do you guys think? ^ Cupra Bocanegra ![]() ^ I have the black grill now Scott |

Sounds like the SCN meet awakened a beast, bet the wife wished she had said you couldn't go to the meet.
Was good to meet you. Looking forward to seeing how this one pans out, it's a shame the MK2 LCR doesn't seem like much more than a 'slightly' modded MK2 Cupra.

It's always been there Willie, it just needs some subtle poking occasionally to make it come out.
![]() Scott knows I'm right

Good to see him back. I'm sure your car didn't help him stay away from the mods either, nice motor

At first I would have said no, but the more I look at the pic with just the roof and the wheels done, the more its growing on me. It seems to blend in nicely with the matte of the grilles. You would have to do the mirrors to match tho.
Whats it look like in gloss on ps ? Last edited by dholdi; 25-08-2009 at 00:46. |

LOL RE: Poking. Z knows me well
![]() There are other pics on the forum with a gloss roof and gloss wheels: Roof: http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/show...1&postcount=22 Wheels: http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/show...4&postcount=10 Spoke to the vinyl guy this morning and he offered me a discount for the roof and the bonnet together. Wondering if I should get both done now, but can't decide. What's your honest opinion guys? Roof only or bonnet as well? Cheers, Scott |

Like this for me, but would still be tempted to go with black grill surround as I just don't like the current SEAT 'dog nose' grille badge. Would hide it better.
At least with it being wrapped if you didn't like it you can peel and forget. Good to see you on the mod train at last.
