1.4 Rocker cover leaking

I have recently changed the rocker cover gasket due to oil seeping from it and down the front of the engine , but the other day I noticed its doing the same thing and from the same spot!?

the 3 bolts on the top of the cover are at their limit, and cant be tighened any further, Has anyone any ideas?

a friend told me the rocker cover might have a slight twist in it, do you think this is possibe?

I was also thinking of getting some instant gasket and putting a bead off it on each side of the rubber gasket b4 fitting... recommended or not?

Thanks guys

btw its a 1.4 8v 1998

Put copper grease on both sides of the gasket, normally seals good and tight.

Don't over tighten the rocker studs though, if they shear off your problem just got 10 times worse!!

I changed my rocker gasket but it still leaked from one corner, took it off put a bead of instant gasket round said corner, hey presto 6 months later still no leakage..... Instant Gasket, its for winners!!!
