Squeaking LCR!

Hi ppl,

I have a squeaking LCR which is driving me mental!! The squeak seems to be coming from the parcel shelf area. The car has a stealth shelf which i think is causing the noise, maybe it dosn't fit correctly......anyone had this issue or could the squeak be coming from somewhere else on the rear of the car????

I suppose i could take the parcel shelf out and drive it around and see what happens, just thought i ask you ppl on here as you are all very knowledgable...unlike me lol!!!

Over and out!!!

Check the back seats too, mine had worn the retaining hooks very badly (confirmed by driving with seats folder forward) and a couple of turns of black electrical tape cured it.

I had a squeeking noise coming from the back of my car... turns out it was the tyre of the spare wheel in the boot touching the plastic panelling on the inside of the boot. Just wiggle the wheel back to its original place. Hope this helps, cant hurt to try
