Boost Issue..... Possible Limp Mode?
Dunno if it's related to this thread
http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=254833 Shouldn't be as it's still been booting ok.... I'm sure even last night it was boosting normal. Can't say for sure as I was on a date and being sensible ![]() Anyway, after dropping her off, I was driving home and went to overtake someone and noticed it wasn't pulling as much.... So I kept "testing" the boost..... Now if I was high in rev range, the boost would shoot to 15psi, as soon as it it 15psi, it dropped straight to 9psi.... If I was lower down in the rev range (so taking longer to buildup boost), it would simply not pass 9psi..... I'm sure earlier on in the night it had boosted higher, but can't say for definate. One thing that the diagnostics machine bought up in the thread I mentioned above was something like "Turbo <something> Malfunction". The diagnostics people couldn't work out what this was. I assume that they got that code due to N112 and N249 being removed and bypass..... |
