MOT tomo... quick question

I have MOT booked tomo... just wanted to check one thing:

My NS front light does not adjust (angle) when I move the adjuster on the dash. The OS light moves up and down, but the other stays put.

Is this an MOT failure?

Cheers

IF the beam is in the right place or can be adjusted at the headlight its self its fine just the electric motor has failed and not adjusting from inside the car

they cant fail that just if the beam is out and cant be readjusted

so i guess you can adjust the beam from the outside of the car? (i.e. traditional method) is that correct?

Sorry to sound dumb

Well I'll keep you guys posted (thanks for the heads up so far)...

Watch this space as I predict I could be breaking some records with the most expensive MOT repairs of all time...

CV gaiter worn
Front lower suspension arm bush worn
4 new tyres (low profile)

And I try to keep it serviced consistently!

Got the MOT today and after a few minor jobs passed well...Though advised on 4 new tyres!

Many thanks VW Independent in Eastleigh (http://www.independentvwservicing.co.uk/).... Fantastic service and very professional...Also have the new Ibiza as courtesy cars...

Would highly recommend them!
