What to log in VAGcom?

This might get moved to the VAGcom section but I thought I would consult the vast knowledge of the the Mk4 Ibiza family first.
I have picked up a shareware version of VAGcom and cable from the bay. No fault codes read so that's a bonus! I'm just up for experimenting with logs right now, maybe find out how the car is running under boost and the effectiveness of the SMIC at the moment. So, 2 questions really:

1. What are the best blocks to log and/or any popular combinations? Also, is it better to log just 1 block at a time or is a combination of 2 or 3 blocks better?

2. What types of driving/runs should I do?

Many thanks folks.
