which DV for loud whoosh?

guys,

i wanna know which DV i need to create a loud whoosh noise for my LC - i know its not to everyones taste but me LIKEY

currently only got a bosh oem one

Forge 007 is good for whoosh sound. Get a nice green induction as well

Get a forge split r you can adjust that to what noise you like.

It also comes with a blank so when you eventually get pissed off with the noise you can put the blank on and make it quiet.

More hassle than there worth though trying to set up(fitted one to my mates GTI and will never do again). Best to get the 007p the most preffered one on this site

Forge is more like a ttttsssshhh with being a re-circ one
If want a whoosh then the Bailey atmospheric but not recomended for our engines.

i asked cos most peeps recommend the forge 007 but it has a muted whoosh sound, i wanted the 'chav' whoosh sound

i have two boys aged 8 and 5 who love that sound and i love putting a smile on there face when the whoosh happens!

Honestly mate, you wont get a load whoosh from a vag engine unless you want to go into limp mode after.
The best way is to either mod your airbox or fit an open cone filter with a Forge 007

get yourself a hks ssqv, had mine on for about 2 years, never hit limp mode, no engine light etc. search on ebay for a mk4 golf ssqv, they're exactly the same fit to the lc

buy a speaker recorded cd and play the woosh noise to them on the stereo, i love the noise too but it gets annoying after a while

put them on any car mate, people advise not to use them on our cars but ive had mine on for 30k miles at least with not one prob mate
