30,000 m service... NO TURBO !!!

llo, recently i decided to service my 1.8T engine since i has hit 30,000miles... Since day one i installed the Stratmosphere Hyperboost HX valve.

I stupidly also decided to give proper Maintenance to my valve, so i opened it, remove piston, o rings, spring and carefully and washed all the components, then gently lube with white lithium grease since its properly used for plastic rubbing with metal (o'rings and valve) i supposed nothing could go wrong.

Now the problem is that my turbo sometimes work and sometimes doesn't. I serviced my car last monday and since then i have had this problem 4 times already.

Sometimes from start up the turbo does not work and will not work until you turn it off, leave it a couple of seconds and start it again. This may take several attempts. Once the car starts and the turbo is working it keeps on working for duration of the journey.

Conversely, if the turbo isn't working, it will not start working during a journey until it has been switched off as above.

I really need your help...

Have a great day !
God bless
Alf
