Nidd Vale, Harrogate

I've just picked up my new MK5 Ibiza Cupra from these guys. Extremely courteous and professional. I was initially dealing with Ross, who took me out in a demo (which I then later snapped up) and told me to have some fun with it, and really see what it can do.

Back to the dealership and we worked on some numbers. They offered me a fantastic price on the demo, and my part-ex and threw in a few extras to sweeten the deal.

Ross then moved on to another department I believe, so Carl (who runs the joint I think) contacted me in person to clarify some numbers that me and Ross agreed on, and to get the ball rolling again. He was very apologetic about the confusion on their part and then said I'd be dealing with Darren for the remainder of the time.

Come vehicle handover time Darren helped me through the paperwork and part-ex. We were all done in no time. He then let me have some time with the car while they moved some cars around in the showroom so I could get out. He went over some of the functionality etc, and I had a quick flick through the quick reference guide. As he drove it out in to the car park, he then took the time to work through more of the cars functionality and recommended running procedures.

We initially agreed on premium car mats, which weren't available on pick-up, but Darren informed me they were on order and apolgised for the delay. He informed me that he'd be giving me a call this Friday just to check-in to see how everything is.

The fantastic deal they offered me on the car was based on the fact that the car was a demo car, and still under contract with them. This means I had a bit of a wait for it, but they insisted they'd look after it and keep it locked away as much as possible, but I shouldn't be surprised if it had clocked up some mileage during this period. To be honest I thought this was just sales-talk at the time, and expected up to a few thousand extra miles (it was ~50miles at the time I took it out for a spin). However, to my surprise they kept true to their word, and it had only clocked up an extra 140 miles in a few months.

All in all it was a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend them. They still have to send me the cashback we agreed on for my existing finance, but I'm sure a quick call will get that sorted.
