Service, MOT and Bits Price Please

Hello Awesome

Can you give me a price for a 60k service inc:

Brake Fluid change (I will supply RBF660)
Oil change (I will supply Millers XF)
Oil Filter change
Plugs (Can you price for supply and fit and just fit please?)

The pollen filter was changed a month ago and an aftermarket cone filter is fitted so neither of these will need changing.

The power steering flexi hose is also leaking at the crimp. I can supply a brand new one from Seat; how much for fitting and fluid flush?

MOT is also due.. will I need to jack the car up a little bit on the coilies, or do they have flush fit ramps where you get the MOTs done?

Cheers.
Dan

Hi Dan,

The full service including plugs would normally be £185+VAT, so i'd say £150+VAT without the oil.

It would be £55+VAT to do the brake fluid change for you with your oil. You will need around 1.5 litres of brake fluid.

The powersteering hose job will depend as we haven't seen where it is leaking from. If it needs the rack dropping down then it could be a couple of hours job in total and may require a geo if the subframe needs to be dropped.

We haven't had any problems with cars at the MOT station, but there could always be a first. If you are happy to raise it slightly first then its not a problem, but it should be fine as it is.... as long as it isn't scraping on the floor

Andy; I think I have sorted the power steering issue !!

So just the service, scrap the plugs, they will be done before hand. I'll buy 1.5litres of RBF600. Do you do any saturday jobs? Or could I bring it in for around midday a week on Thursday?

Thanks.

Dan
