how do you turn off the air bags for a child seat?

is there a way to switch off the passenger air bags? i need to carry a child around and cant find a switch any where? if there is one? can it even been done?

No there is no switch for the airbags.

There used to be a kit you can get from the stealer to disconnect the passenger one only. Was about €50.00 for the kit. Hope this helps

looks like il have to take a trip to a seat garage, is it still necassary to turn them off if the child seats in the back?

No if the seat is on the backseat you wont have to turn them off.
