Unfortunately you cant buy a new garret for under that amount you could try america but there are sometimes issues,if you already have a garrett why not get it rebuilt you should be able to get that done for less money....
P.m me if you need prices for a specific turbo or sned me the spec of yours and i'll find out the costs of a rebuild (well approx prices anyway).........

cheers

Ok i have spoken to turbo dynamics and they have said that if the shaft moves as freely as a sausage in a bucket then it will cost over £600 so you may as well have a new turbo at around £780+vat,if however the compressor dosent touch the housing then the rebuilds start at around £280+vat,but as with most turbo peeps thay need to see it to make sure...

Please p.m me if you want to know more....

Try these guys. mft motorsport. It's a german site. mft-berlin.de
I got a top mount manifold from them £100 cheaper than uk supply.
They speak English so no probs there. Postage was very reasonable too.

I was just about to say a replacement core is a good route to take, as long as the turbine side isn't cracked, how long did your turbo last btw?

cheers for the link m8 but im going to try getting 1 from the uk saves waiting for all the shipping etc, turbo lasted a year in my possesion i was the third person to own it i think so must of had some stick before i had it and i gave it plenty lol i knew it wouldnt last long anyway hence why i have a spare gt30 but now thats not a direct fit and just want my car back as it was not really bothered about figures as it was quick as it was with the map not at its max.

and this is what i think will be good for what i want without buying the whole lot
