Stage 1 map- mpg and high idle speed
Had the Stage 1 remap done on my Leon FR tdi 150. Utterly phenomenal! Stevie at Autohaus in Edinburgh did a great service, new brakes fitted all round and remap seemed to go off without a hitch, and I now have a rocket ship parked on the drive.
A couple of glitches though. My MPG seems to have dipped by about 4-5mpg compared to before the map. I've done about 500 miles on it since, and haven't been thrashing it (honest!). In fact I've deliberately tried to keep my driving as before as an experiment to see how much the mpg improves. I'm now getting 45-47, as compared with 50-55 from before. Any ideas? Second, the car is idling at c. 1100 rpm. It did idle at 900 ish before the map. Again, any thoughts would be useful. Stevie is going to look at it again and see if there's a patch from Revo, but I was wondering if anyone else has had similar? Cheers! |
