Boost Pressure Problem (with logs)
Hi all,
Recently I have noticed my boost is only reaching 14 psi and then tailing off a couple of psi. Previously it would spike to around 21-22 and hold around 15psi. (boost guage) There is no obvious boost leaks or split vac lines, and i have recently serviced th DV. Also there is an occasional bank 1 Lamda fault, but i've had the fault for years with no adverse effect on performance. Car is running: Modded airbox with GC filter Laguna FMIC Milltek Cat back Revo Stage one I've been out logging tonight,but don't really know how to read the data. Also I have tried using SPS to up the boost, but the higher i go the less it boosts! Currenty using HB4 setting on old SPS and Igntimig 5.

Been out in mine tonight and upped the boost and timing but acheived less boost.
The problem is it's just lost that initial spike on spool up, it's still as fast up the revs, the map just feels really smooth and progressive. I would't have a problem with it if thats how it was to start with, but it wasn't so something must be wrong. Advancing the timing seems to have no effect and i'm runnng 99 ron, advancing the boost makes it acheive less and i have no problems with intake temps. The logs don't really show the problem. Think it's one of those problems which could be anything and is probably something simple. I have an N75J staring at me from across the room I'll fit that at the weekend.

i use a hallman boostcontroler instead off the n75.the revo stage 1 is more agressive i heard
