Best way to get rid of paint bubble?

Can anyone tell me how best remove a very small spot of rush which has formed a small bubble on my boot lid just under the seat badge. There is a tiny fault in the paint which i believe caused the rust.
Would anyone recommend treating this like a chip and remove the rust and repair the paint like stone chip?
Any help would be great, a bodyshop job is a last resort.

your car should be covered for 12 years for rust id take it back to a dealer and get them to sort it
