rated torque on standard clutch...?

high people. my clutch is slipping on my cupra tdi after being remapped last year. cltuch had done 40k before mapping and did about 7k before it started in the cold weather.

rolling road print out it 307lb ft and i no thats roughly the clutches limit. however i have heard that a brand new standard clutch can prob take around 330 before it gradually wears... im only looking at keeping car till next summer so dont really wonna pay out for expensive clutches that may not be as easy going in traffic.

does any1 have any thoughts??

regards
