Parrot CK3000 Problem

Had a CK3000 bluetooth kit installed last week. Everything works fine when the car is stationary or at low speed, but at anything over about 40mph the Parrot kit can't hear voice commands, and if I connect manually the person on the other end of the line just hears a lot of noise and my really distant voice. Moved the mic from the top of the A-pillar to the top of the steering column to see if this made any difference but it didn't seem to.

Anyone else had similar problems and sorted them?

I've had no such problems with mine. Got the mic at the top of the A Pillar.

Sounds like you've got a dodgy Mic or main unit. It is supposed to be quite advanced with all sorts of noise cancelling trickery.

The only thing I can think of is that the ISO connectors are pushed all the way in on the back of the radio.

Try plugging the MIC into a stereo/PC and talking into it to see if it's crackly?

Did you record your voice commands using it, when you say a persons name does it come back ok over the speakers?

I've got mine velcro'd just in front of the interior light and it doesn't get the road noise that you get from the A pillar there.
