Been a long long time since iv put anything up in here. So fort was about time i showed you some sneaky peeks of whats to come with my little ibiza

When it came off the road earlier in the year it was sitting nicely at 270bhp and 406lb/ft. Was a grate car to drive and really surprised a lot but after a small miss hap with the injector and piston No4 i pulled it off the road.

At that point was a toss up, fix and get rid, go full out and keep. As it still gets 55+ MPG and iv got my MK1 golf project and drifting to do. I thought was a bad time to lose such a good daily. So full rebuild it was.....

How it sat this time last year

When i got it in the garage

With the damage found it was time to get the engine out.

quick pick of the damage

Whilst it was all apart and with me going for more power i thought it rude not to get the head done. So off it went for a full port and polish, over sized valves and extended bronze valve guides. I sourced some uprated valve springs, strengthened retainers, and black top lifters ready for the build up

Then was time for new injectors. I went for uprated Firad nozzles on pd150 body's

This is were the pics get really bad. I know you were prob thinking it was bad enough as it was
Always been one to get carried away doing rather than taking pics.

My custom fuel filter set up. 1micron filter off a CAT with billet top and speed flow fittings

lots of stuff missing pic wise. But the list includes.... All new gaskets seals and bolts from VW, FM fuel cooler, re-wired and sheathed loom, new inlet, big FMIC, direct port water methanol injection the list gos on and on.

I will get new pics and updates very soon. the engine is built in and ready to run iv just gotta sort the new battery location and FMIC pipe work

STAY TUNED

I'm also looking at setups that will push beyond the 300bhp mark. Very tempted to go 3063. With the right nozzles and uprated internals, it will see silly power.

cheers guys. yer hoping will be a bit special.

awesome!! i thought i was brave just looking for 220+ lol!
what injectors are you two using?

There Firad nozzles on pd150 body's. There basically bigger nozzles on the old body's. United Diesel are the ones to speak to.
They do nozzles that can range from 15% more fuel than stn all the way to 100%

Whats different about the inlet? Just opposite way around for FMIC piping?

How much did the manifold set you back mate? Got a bit of a leak on my seat sport cooler, and wouldnt mind doing something similar to yourself.

Where abouts is your filter going to sit?

Bit more than a leak on the front mount, its blown the core lol

I had a spare 150 manifold kicking about so swapped it for that one on tdi club. Iv got so much stuff for the pd it unreal now, 3 sets of 150 injectors a couple of blocks and heads. Really should pull my finger out and sell some of it. Would be nice to be able to fund my Mk1 again lol

The filter is going to sit behind the O/S fog light.

hey matey
thanks for the link for united diesels..will give them a ring on monday
sorry to kinda change your topic a little but i need injectors for my ibiza...the requested fuel and actual fuel are like 20 units apart!
massively underpowered for a FMIC/hybrid 130turbo (only 185bhp and 390nm!)
not looking for massive power like yourself but how easy is it to put the pd150 injectors on? and how much would you want for a set of them?

Any pictures of your new TIP? Which side of the bay is your air filter going to be sitting at?

Also, what filter are you using?

Looking at doing something very similar intercooler wise, as mines now blown the core too.

It's very easy. Have a look on tdi club there are lots of tutorials on there. It's very easy tho.

Probs about £110each

But would be worth checking the part numbers on yours as some 130 and 150 injectors are the same. Then agen if yours are that far out I would have a good look in to them.

No more pics at present. Never been good ap keeping that side of things up to date lol

The filter will be behind the passenger side fog. The pipework will go up and in on the left side were the stn boost pipe gos now.

Will prob use a jetex or apexi filter
