Well, I've got a lecture at stupid o'clock in the morning, but thought I'd start this lil thing!

Anyway, me, I'm Ed, studying Construction Property Management, live down near Bristol, and waste far too much money on cars for the very little I earn lol

Before the Ibiza I had this, '01 Polo GTi, Ap Coilovers, stupid height but had all the toys on it and was great fun, custom fitted front and rear MK4 Golf GTi Recaros too this, still to this day not seen another one like it, car is for sale if anybody is interested ;)

Got through stupid numbers of wheel swaps on that thing, but spur of the moment went out a bought myself a MK4 Ibiza Cupra, not actually got many pics of it yet, so not sure why I'm writing this yet lol

The then Ibiza.. 42k on it, FSH etc

So, took me some of this

Then home it came.. and off came the rear wiper and slightly shorter aerial went on!

Had it about a month already, and to date its got
AP Coilovers with new top mounts etc

Fitted these with mondeo drop links to avoid ARB and driveshaft issues.
Stuck the usual headunit and sub in, as everyone has their chav side
Today just fitted a Forge TIP, Jetex cone, and Bailey's DV

15mm spacers out on the rears too

Here's one shocking pic I do have of it, but will get some proper pics up soon!

Last weekend had a bit of a panic, Turbo to manifold bolts came loose, got them retightened for now, but will be getting some different bolts and washers if it happens again!

Loving the car already, cant believe how much I hated the standard suspension on it though, what were Seat thinking, stiff yet still leaned when giving it some..

Ed!

Oh, did the flip key like instantly as well for it! Had to be done really!

SC16v, cheers mate, gonna drop the front about 2 or 3 more winds and get the hacksaw blade to any arch liner parts that catch, dont want this one to scrub on anything!

I got mine from EuroCarParts, '03 model, only maybe 15mm shorter than standard, but are perfect, decent quality allen key and socket rather than the crappy torx bit on the standard ones, one of which had to be destroyed to get off

Car looks nice need more pics though !

Will be giving it a long over due clean asap so will get some up for sure!

Looks very much like mine mate! You've probably seen mine at the VagOwners meets every now and then ;)

When lowering it more, its not the arch liner thats the problem, it's the inside of the wing itself... I hacked away at my arch liner and it made practically zero difference :(

Hah, hello buddy! Ye, never really spoken to you much!

I'm going down again this week, and swapping the 15's on the rear for 20mm spacers so I'll be doing some 'arch work' of some form, already cut the **** outta my arch liners as my drop links were ruining them at one point. Will have to do something as its hard to get them looking low..

20mm should be no problem on the rear as far as I know... I run 15's anyway as I got them cheap :p

The ride is really uncomfortable at the lowest settings just to warn you!

Thats as low as it gets in my opinion.. adjuster cups out at the rear, and fronts wound alllll the way down ;)

Ye I never even took the adjusters out of the box for the rear, so will go down a few winds on the front, and hoping the 20mm on the rear will sort that out a bit.

Took my old polo out for a drive earlier, that thing is so stupidly bouncy I cant imagine the Cupra being THAT bad lol

Well with a Milltek exhaust and no adjuster cups, there basically is no suspension lol. The rear beam pushes the exhaust up into the bottom of the car so there is no room for movement at all! :(

I've since raised mine a couple of inches so as to avoid fillings on my next dental trip

Haha, maybe for the best then, will have a play around with it tomorrow and see how much I can take before I realise comfort gets more important than appearance!

Great Cupra mate, did you fit the standar top mounts?

I've been looking for a solid top mounts but I still don't find where to buy them...
