Unhappy Bloody Wiper Blades

Hi ALL

Just my luck as it begins to snow the rubber strip on my front wiper blades stick and rip off!!

Is it easier to change the whole wiper or just change the rubber wiper blade strips??

Any advice would be great, if you just change the rubber blades anybody know what you do and how long the replacements need to be??

cheers

depends what side

change the whole wiper arm (may as well do both sides as they do the same 'travelling')

why not work out how long they need to be by measuring?

IIRC I run 21" & 19" but it's been a while.

I just replaced my wiper blades yesterday.
Bought Halfords own brand ones and they're suprisingly GREAT! Miles better than the Champion blades I had on there before.

M0rk is right, it's 21" and 19" on the front and 13" on the back.

I replaced all 3 and now they're silent.

They take 2 mins to change!

You won't need the lengths as they have a little fitment book saying which ones to get. It's cheaper to get the front 2 as a pack, rather than separate, but like I say, the book will tell you what to get.

I've also got the Bosch wiper replacement blades (for Leon the code is 19/21AS or 21/19AS from memory) in Halford a couple of Months back, they are much better, no screeching sounds when the windscreen has a bit of water on it now.

The only problem I find is on the return they seem to leave drops of water on the windscreen, really bloody annoying

Also check out this post about Aero wipers, they are more expensive, but sound good.

Got my Bosch ones in Halfords for £20, or is the 'set' for rear one also?
