Aura radio advice

Recently purchased my new LCR 225 2004 in red!

Absolutely love the car, but then I knew I would having previously owned MK3 Ibiza Cupra, MK4 Ibiza TDI, and 2 x MK1 LC's.

I am now onto sorting the last of the faults, the radio did previously say 'Safe' mode. I left the radio on to try and get it out of safe mode, but it now reads 'No Panel' when you switch it on, and immediately turns off. Its also worth noting that the radio panel light does not illuminate. It is an AUra sterio.

Any help will be appreciated, I can no longer tolerate driving without a radio!

Many thanks

Matt

Sounds like it isn't recognising the removable part on the front. Check to see the contacts are touching correctly. Don't know if you can check any serial numbers on the removable part to confirm it's the the correct part for that stereo. Get a better quality stereo in there anyway!

HI I have a sony ericsson bluetooth already fitted, i dont have an ipod but could get one.
My cd changer wont work would it be better to buy a stereo that plays just 1 cd with an ipod connection. I would like it to fit in with the car as i believe seat leons dont have a standard fit (wider gap than normal) Thanks Robbat

You need a fascia FP-18-00
and aerial booster PC5-52 or PC5-90 depending upon what brand you buy
If you purchase a decent stereo brand then you wont need a harness.

What your budget for a stereo? Are you looking for sound quality? Features? OEM as poss look?
