Serious Electric problems
Hi new to seat ibiza started getting abs light flashing inconsistently during approaches to roundabouts or just driving on ice and this has caused power steering to come on also it just beeps for a couple of seconds and goes off and the twice the power steering light comes on i stop and start the car it resets itself - Anyone k.ow what this is all about ? Read could be gremlin in system and could cost anywhere up to 1500 to fix - its a 4 year old car and i took warranty out thankfully hoping that covers electrical issues - thoughts most welcome

Sorry should have said ita a 56 plate 1.4 se seat ibiza only done 21000 miles took it a spin today and now getting power steering failure during motion have to pull in and shut down and restart for it to go off this is a nightmare only had it 2 months i got warranty with car lessons learned from mg days but now getting a tow 400 miles home tommoz due to issues hope warrantu covers these elec probs really like the car apart deom these issues

Have you connected it to VAG com to set what errors are coming up?

New update now gettin a 400 mile tow home power steering light and subsequent failure appeared withput warning yesterday at 30mph could have crashed when driving and it went heavy totally unsafe to drive with these faults - thinking electric board is mashed tow due in 3 hours
